My son loves this lamp. It goes nicely with other chevron accents in his room.I was skeptical when this shelf arrived in a very short box. However, once put together it is taller than I expected and well made for the price. I have assembled many furniture pieces in my lifetime and I have to say this piece was very straightforward to assemble which was a refreshing change.The lamp itself doesn't project a ton of light but I didn't expect it to. It's more of a soft, decorative light ( don't expect to be able to use it for reading). The lampshade itself is very vibrant when lit and adds character to the room.
