Manufactured in Ohio, this bookcase comes with the clearest assembly instructions I have ever seen.. Intelligently written with sufficient clear illustrations to guide one quite successfully through the build. Every aspect of the assembly fit together precisely. Sauder includes a very functional nail-holder in the hardware kit for holding the tiny finishing nails the back is attached with, and extra nails were included. The build came out perfectly and the finished product is rock solid and extremely well finished. It took me several hours to assemble, but I was not hurrying, have sub-optimal eyesight, and was simply enjoying the process. You could assemble it more quickly I'm certain. I would not hesitate to buy another Sauder product and would recommend this bookcase to your purchase.
