After installing one on the wall, I pushed down on it to test it out. And it broke at the nipple. I bought these because they were listed as being "heavy duty". They aren't.If I was going to use this for something relatively light, I'm sure it would work fine.My closet was transformed into a boutique style.Love how our shelves in our kitchen looks. Very niceI am so pleased with the way these shelves turned out!They are strong and sturdy. The holes in each bracket are consistent which helped a lot with installation.I got the look I wanted at a fraction of the cost of purchasing prepackaged shelves.The wood I used was a 6 ft length of barn board that cost me less than $15 from homedepot.ca and we cut it into 3 shelves that fit perfectly above the toilet.This product was easy to install and with all 4 screws being in a stud they are very sturdy. The only reason it’s a 4 star and not a 5 is that the pipes are 12” however even a rough cut 2x12 is not 12” so just the time I cut and sanded my new shelves they turned out to be 11” so there was a 1” gap between the wall and the shelves. Possibly offering an 11” pipe as well as the 10” and 12” might be helpful for people using boards to make shelves.I was a little nervous these wouldn’t with stand heavier clothing but they turned out way better then I expected them to! We have limited space for a Custom wardrobe and the 10 inch rods worked out perfect for a 12 inch depth wardrobe. I wasn’t actually expecting much clothing would fit on them but there’s still room to spare and that makes me satisfied with this purchase. Everything needed was supplied, shipping was very quick thanks for the great products!So very pleased I found these to update my home office. They came already beautifully painted with all the pieces which saved me time, running around to hardware stores and stress! We screwed them into the studs so the wall anchors were not needed. They hold 8 inch wide and 1.5 inch thick wooden shelves perfectly. They arrived on time, were well made and I'm happy!Ours ended up kind of crooked so the shelves we placed on top didn't look straight. The threads make some of the pipe pieces a litte off so they don't seat entirely straight . Otherwise they seem fine , painted so hopefully they won't rust in the bathroom steam but yet to be determined. Decent quality.
