This bookcase came VERY well packed, with foam spacers and protectors. My sister-in-law and I assembled it in well under an hour. Instructions were well illustrated; it was fairly easy to assemble; and the screws and Allen wrench came in labeled plastic "bags" that were all connected so you couldn't lose parts. If you have ever had to look at every provided piece to decide which screw or bolt was which, you will also like that aspect. You will need two people to put it together because the shelves are solid and heavy. I suggest that you not completely tighten the screws for the metal frame until you get the shelves set into place.If I needed another bookcase like it, I'd certainly purchase it again.
