The shelf is perfect for the spot I had. The screws and anchors are terrible! They didn’t work together, the screws wouldn’t catch the anchors and made a loose connection. The shelf tilted dangerously. We bought anchors from Home Depot and now the shelf is very stable and I love it. If you buy go get your own anchors!This was the perfect choice for above my coffee bar. It's sturdy and seems to be real solid wood (not veneer). Came just as pictured with no dents or defects.Drilling the holes for installation was rough but that's only because I live in an old building with brick walls. It came with the proper anchors though so I didn't even need to run to the hardware store!I keep potted plants on it and the moisture from the bottom of the pots has caused some of my other shelves to stain, but this shelf seems to be well sealed and hasn't stained at all.Very sturdy and well made. Great product for the price. Easy to put up. And I LOVE the color! I plan on buying more for another room!I needed sturdy shelves for books these are beautiful in also!The wood looks great both color and grain. It broke my heart to stain the finish to match the darker furniture in my office but it came out great. The wood appears to be oak so be careful not to let the stain stay on to long since oak will absorb the stain.I highly recommendI ordered the 36inch shelves. It came 2 shelves for $48, which is reasonable. I liked them so much I "ordered again" within 2 weeks and only 1 shelf came for the same price. I went back and checked the description and somewhere in that small time frame they started selling 1 for $48. Definitely seems tricky. One of these shelves for $48 is not reasonable. They're nice, but not THAT nice.I loved my shelves. Good quality and the design seems more sturdy than other floating shelves because of the support on the bottom. There are no instructions for installation but it is self-explanatory. Just organize the screws by size, the 4 long ones are to secure them into the wall. There are holes to match the bottom parts to the shelf part so I put that together first before securing them onto the wall. Hope that helps!I don’t know why these aren’t more popular. They are so solid and look amazing in our office.
