Not many cabinets with a center channel shelf. This unit looks great, but the weak instructions make assembly a pain. I need glasses to read some parts about the hinge dampener. [I don't wear glasses.] As soon as I opened the box, the paint smell was overwhelming. It also had a couple of small chips I had to touch up. I suggest using a strip of tape, or glue when assembling the side panels. My panels rattled like a snare drum. An inside bead of silicone cured the problem. I made a couple of small cutouts in the back panel, rather than purchase the pricy extensions. Overall the unit looks very nice, but the bolt heads at each corner look cheap. The door stops are crude as well. The current price is a better deal than when I bought it.
